Digital Spotlights
Most Virginia Welcome Centers have an LCD screen on the information counter – these screens display a series of 1-minute, 45-second digital profiles that put a Digital Spotlight on destinations, attractions, and events across the Commonwealth.
Six Digital Spotlight slots are available every quarter at each Welcome Center. For a $50 investment, you can put your destination, attraction, or special event on center stage. Launch your Digital Spotlight for as little as $50 per quarter, per Welcome Center!
Digital Spotlight details:
- Your Spotlight can incorporate a custom slideshow or video footage. (We can help you create your spotlight. All you need to do is send us a maximum of 20 high resolution pictures. No extra cost!) Pictures must be received at least 30 days ahead.
- Use your Spotlight to highlight destinations and attractions and even special events.
- Your Spotlight is displayed on either a digital monitor or a digital frame.
- Digital monitors or frames are located on the information counter for maximum exposure.
- Only 6 Spotlight slots are available in a Welcome Center. Partners receive a minimum exposure of 5 showings per hour – 80 minutes of viewing time during each business day.
- Spotlight space is reserved and displayed on a quarterly basis.
- You may choose multiple quarters, multiple centers, and even multiple Spotlight topics.
